Unused Alice Station of Awakening Platform Found in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix Files
Recently, Kingdom Hearts fans made a startling discovery on Twitter. A tweet from over five years ago was found in which user TheDaguar shared that they found the file correlating to the unused Alice Stained Glass platform within Kingdom Hearts Final Mix.
This is a significant development since while this illustration was known via the Kingdom Hearts Design Document, it being found in the game files is a whole other beast. Further, because of the clarity granted by this image from the files themselves, various details can be better perceived. For example, the Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, and more can be viewed on the platform. Additionally, the platform’s edges contain neat playing card symbols highly reminiscent of Wonderland’s aesthetic.
Twitter user @DaniZayaa helped share this tweet and even provided a colored look at how the Alice Stained Glass platform would look in-game.

In Kingdom Hearts IV, Sora is in Quadratum with Strelitzia, a prominent character from Kingdom Hearts Union χ. This setting is an afterworld for the two characters following their tragic fates. Additionally, this new saga has been titled the Lost Master Arc. Further, some combat footage was showcased, with Sora performing Keyblade transformations against a giant entity that seems to be a Heartless? We don’t know for sure.
“The heart resides within the soul, which in turn is guided by fate to its rightful place” is a crucial phrase used at the start of this trailer for the upcoming mainline game.
